BCCI has made slight alterations to the schedule of two Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 matches. - 16th April and 17th April of this season.

Kolkata Knight Riders vs. Rajasthan Royals match will now be played on 16th April 2024.
Slight changes in the schedule of IPL, for Kolkata Knight Riders vs. Rajasthan Royals match which was set to be happen on 17th April 2024 is now scheduled for 16th April 2024.

Gujarat Titans and Delhi Capitals will now be played on 17th April 2024.
Similarly, match between Gujarat Titans and Delhi Capitals which was originally scheduled for the date of 16th April 2024, will now take place on 17th April 2024.
Apart of it all matches will played as scheduled from 18th April 2024.

Why BCCI Changes the date of IPL /Why matches of KKR vs RR & GT vs DC are rescheduled?

BCCI has to take the decision of alternation in the match of KKR vs RR & GT vs DC, because Kolkata Police has acknowledged the security concern & inability to provide sufficient security on 17th April due to Ram Navami and upcoming general elections.
Kolkata Police communicated to CAB president Saurav Ganguly through the letter, this process of alteration and rescheduling process will effect logistics, ticketing system, travel plan and broadcaster arrangement.
