Yashasvi Jaiswal’s journey is a true inspiration. He born on 28 December 2001 in Suriyawa, Bhadohi, Uttar Pradesh. He comes from a very humble background and went through so much of struggle to achieve his dreams. His father’s name is Bhupendra jaiswal ( owner of small hardware store) and mother’s name is Kanchan Jaiswal(housewife).

Todays we all are discussing about Yashasvi recent knock of 208 run but there are lots of get to know about this star.

At the age of 10 he moved to Mumbai but to match the speed of Mumbai city have never been easy to this small town small Yashasvi.

There is a very interesting and inspirational fact is claimed for this Star cricketer that when he came to Mumbai he got a roof from a dairy owner to live in with under a condition to help him in his shop, but till then Cricket had become the sprit and soul of this boy. So, he was not able to give time to the owner’s shop and in result this future cricketer was thrown out by owner.

With no roof on his head, hand full on cricket kit, eyes filled with ambition, and spirit to conquer the world, he landed into the tent in a local garden named Azad Maidan.

Only the roof was changed for this boy ,this fierce batsman but neither his goal nor his attitude was changed. He sold panipuri alongside the groundsmen to survive in his spare time.

When his mother asked him to come back to his town he refused by saying that , “he will only be back when he become a cricketer”, and he also stated that “he will live in ground which will help him to wake up in the ground and in morning, cricket will be in front of him” which show his perseverance toward the cricket. But for Yashasvi on one side there was Arabian Sea and on another side there were hundreds of aspiring cricketers in Azad Maidan. He had to standout in that sea like as a Whale.

But there is a saying that ‘A baby shark is still a shark’ and soon his potential got noticed by Jwala Singh in Azad maidan. Singh not only trained him but also provided him food and shelter . Yashasvi remind him of his old days. Yashasvi kept improving himself and day by day this boy started becoming the lion on the cricket ground by his talent and hunger to make run. And the day came since then he never looked back when he scored 319 marvellous run and took 13 wicket in multi-day match of Haris Shield which in one of the top level school cricket tournament.

He kept scoring runs in U-16, U-19 for Mumbai which led his selection in Indian U-19 team in 2018. His excellency came out in U-19 Asia Cup and became the highest run scorer in ICC U-19 world cup in 2020.

He kept grinding and pilling huge runs in domestic and Mumbai Ranji cricket team which attract IPL franchise and got picked up by Rajasthan Royal for Rs. 2.4 crore.

“Money was never matter for me, it was important for me to get into IPL” said Star Cricketer.

He struggled bit in the early days on IPL but he worked on basics and with some improvement in IPL 2023 he scored 625 run in 14 matches and won “Emerging Player of the Season Award” including his 13 ball- fifty run.

Now with the strong baggage of runs and performances on his back now this baby shark was ready to take dive in international sea’s which resulted in his selection toTest Cricket of India in July 2023 against WestIndies. He was so unstoppable that he scored 171 huge run which make him the 17th Indian to score century in debut match.

He stated “it was emotional moment for me but this is just a start. I will be more focused and disciplined to make India proud”

Soon he also made his debut in T20 Cricket, he is getting praises from all the cricket fraternities and slowly he is becoming a dependent player of India.
