Since Rohit Sharma was dropped from the Captaincy and Hardik Pandya took over the captaincy position he didn’t open up or spoke related to the replacement.

However, Fans has been waiting for Hardik Pandya to see what he has to say about it. Hardik Pandya at press conference said that “I don’t focus on what I can’t control. He was asked if there is any feeling of awkwardness in the team after Rohit Sharma is dropped from Captaincy and Hardik Pandya added saying that “There won’t be any confusion. I have played all my cricket with MI with Rohit as captain, so I am sure he will always be around to help me out”

He was also asked if he spoke to Rohit Sharma. He replied with both answers a yes and no and said that “Rohit has been travelling non-stop (with the Indian team). I will definitely catch up with him when he joins the squad.”

He also added saying that “ This IPL, I will play as an all-rounder and finish as many games as possible and enjoy the position I have always loved.”

Hardik Pandya was bought for 15 crore as his base price for IPL auction 2024 and also he was given the option for doing Captaincy for Mumbai Indians removing Rohit Sharma. Back from his Injuries he is all set to play the IPL 2024. Also, he added saying about his injury that has happened recently that “It was a freak injury and had nothing to do with my previous injuries. We tried to push too hard for a return during the World Cup. I have no issues with my body and intend to play all matches.”
